Glad to have made it in to Chinatown for the Darwin Day dinner and fine presentation by David Orenstein. Also was very happy to have met several fellow infidels and look forward to other SHSNY events...

It was an excititing day for me. I enjoyed listening david as he brought various key figures of this nation who are living in 570 bc timeframe and ruling the best nation on earth with most resources and yet elected totally disqualified public officials. Its a total shame for u.s. when education quality is in question? Political leaders stand point is in question.. that was a great eye opener. Thanks to david.

Thanks to all who attended. Again, wonderful to see good friends and also make new ones. Conversations were super. Hope you enjoyed the presentation.

David: Thank YOU for the presentation. You obviously put such time, care and hard work into it - which everyone could see and appreciate. One of our smartest moves ever was inviting you!

Outstanding - big crowd, considering the near-blizzard weather, good, lively conversations at all the tables, five-star food, a closely-contested Dumbth Award election (winner Congressman Steve "If babies had guns they wouldn't be aborted" Stockman was cheered), and a fascinating, fact-filled presentation by Paleolibrarian David Orenstein.

Hi, sorry for canceling and the late notice but my wife and I live in Jersey City and won't be able to make it into town due to the weather. Our car is parked on the street and can't move it due to the ice around it (rock hard ice). We wish we could make it but it just is too hard to get into town right now. We prepaid but don't care about getting a refund. Maybe our fee can be used to offset the price for other people there.

Danny, I'm truly sorry you can't make it, and appreciate your generosity. SHSNY is actually charging just under what the restaurant is charging us (in order to build attendance), so offsetting is welcomed. How about I apply part of your pre-pay to a SHSNY family membership for a year (which includes our - ahem - brilliantly edited newsletter)? If so, let me know your postal and email addresses at [masked]. - John Rafferty, Pres/SHSNY

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
