DWA At Bill's Place in Astoria - Free Pizza!

Come to Drinking With Atheists (DWA) in Astoria.

For 8 years, we've had a DWA party every Friday night.  Atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers of all stripes are welcome for a night of friendship and stimulating conversation!

There will be free pizza and strawberry daiquiris.  If you want to brings something, don't burden yourself on the subway -- at the subway stop is a supermarket, a liquor store, and a fine foods deli.

One other woman says she's coming, but doesn't want to RSVP.

Hey, I never actually submitted an RSVP! There have been times when I "belt-dialed" people with my cellphone (my yahoo e-mails are forwarded to it), but this is the first time I've somehow managed to belt-RSVP.

    [masked]rd Rd #1
    Astoria, NY 11105

It's a 16 minute train ride from Manhattan, followed by a 250 yard walk.
Take the N subway toward Queens, 16 minutes past the 59th / Lexington stop in Manhattan.
    Get off at Ditmars.
Go back the way you came on 31st St, along the elevated subway tracks.
Go straight past 23rd *AVE* until you pass an auto service station, then you'll be at 23rd *ROAD* (road, not ave) turn right.
The second door on the your left (look for balloons) is the place.

Note that everyone who has gotten lost following these directions didn't wait for the auto service station and turned right on 23rd *AVE* instead of 23rd *ROAD*.

If you want to drive here, you can probably find parking within a couple of blocks.

The balloons are not outdoors. If they are up, they will be inside in the window. :)

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
