Got MoM grew out of the desire to connect with other moms and share common experiences. I am a first time mommy and with that come lots of trial and errors. As I go through this awesome journey of parenthood I also can't seem to forget that I am an adult and let's face it we need to interact with other adults from time to time. I wanted to form a group where moms like me can come together and discuss what really goes on in our daily lives. So if you have children ages 0-7 yrs and need a place to share, have fun and meet other people who just understand... Got MoM is the group for you! We have park play-dates, weekend activities, Mommy Night Outs, and of course activities and events that your whole family will be able to attend. Once a month we'll meet with our children for activities and projects, schedule for these activities TBA. I am a former teacher so I know how important it is for our little ones to socialize and make friends :-D.  

  Like many of you I was so excited and ready to have fun with my little one.  As a teacher I have wonderful memories of all the fun I had with the children I worked with.  I wanted to have those same memories and experiences with my son.  So last summer I decided to start a Mom group with just my friends.  We would meet for activities, and of course MNO (mom's night out).  This was something I really looked forward to especially since my son is the only child and grandson on both sides...yup no other kids around lol.   A few weeks ago we decided to open our group up and register on this website, in hopes of meeting positive and great parents.

 POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT (A.K.A DRAMA FREE ZONE) [:D
 One imperative point I want to stress is that we are a positive group with parents who are caring and respectful towards each other.  Our main goal is to have FUN and make lasting positive experiences for our children and ourselves.  Our group is open to anyone who is creative, fun and caring.  We  welcome members and organizers from other groups.  Ideas and suggestions are highly welcomed and encouraged.

Got MoM is dedicated to providing a safe and secure place where mother's can find support, encouragement and to empower them to be better women and parents. We aim for low cost events and activities that will enhance personal growth as well as fun activities with your little ones.

2 REQUIREMENTS

1.  We ask that you be courteous and respectful to all individuals in the group (Parents and Children)

2.  Attend  at least 2 Meet-ups a month.

3. Membership Dues: $10/yr this will help cover website fees and  art supplies.
