What is your experience level with wines? (e.g. I am just starting out; I enjoy wine with most dinners; I am very familiar with most varietals and know their typical characteristics; I am an expert with a large wine cellar)

I am familiar with most wine varieties and enjoy the wine note that hits my taste

What is your experience with eating gourmet foods? (e.g. I have not had much experience; I enjoy it when available; I eat at the French Laundry every chance that I get)

I have travelled and tried gourmet foods and tastes and interested in more! I did try for French Laundry reservation without success but did try interesting places in NY and LA.

How familiar are you with wine paring? (e.g. I don't drink wine with a meal; I don't pair I just open the closest bottle; I put thought into what wine will go with the meal; my cellar allows me to pick the perfect wine for every meal)

I do like wine pairing especially for spicy foods and matching wines as well as moscato wines for desserts.

What is you experience with cooking gourmet dinners? (e.g. I have no experience; I have limited experience but want to give it a try; I cook as often as possible)

Although I am a chemist, I did not delve into cooking while I enjoy the variety of foods as I eat out often.

Are you a potential host of a gourmet food and fine wine dinner? (e.g. no thanks I just want to participate in the dinners; I might be willing to give it a try; I love to cook and plan on hosting events)

Not at this point but would not shut out the option.

Introduction

I just moved to Reno from S. Calif for a job in the nutritional supplement industry. Love gourmet foods and wines.
