This Group lesson will be held in Morse Park 4, located 5-7 minutes away from Lok Fu's MTR station. Convenient location I was lucky enough to book. So take advantage while you could, especially you folks in Kowloon and New Territories!
You can Google Map the location as 'Morse Park 4' or 'Heng Lam Street'. Looking forward to see you folks!
Learn Everything you need in 2 hours!
This will be a class aimed to give you an introduction on what I have learned over the past 17 years, through my trial and error. Let me give you what works and save you my 17 years of work. I will not reserve in letting you know what it takes to really smack the ball hard. This will be your first step as I will articulate the concept and physics behind hitting a solid ball. This is a trial lesson which will go through all strokes in tennis. If you enjoy tennis now, you will love it when you see yourself improve and be able to do certain things which were hard or impossible for you before.
If you want to improve fast, you will need good fundamentals. This is what I aim to do. To teach you the different grips and stances for you to decide on what's best for yourself. Presenting all the options you have. Or if you decide to stick to your own technique and stroke, will make an analysis of what you need to do to improve on your mechanics.
Tennis is much more fun when you're able to play a complete match with sets, so I aim to teach you all the essential strokes of the game to make you a complete player. If you aim to learn to just rally and knock the ball back-and-forth a couple times, please try to reconsider as the group's spirit is to take control of your 'tennis' life and being content with what could be so, so much more would be a pity. Trust me on this one!
All the strokes are mainly split into two parts:
1. Doing Drills
2. Playing Meaningful Points
Reason for this comes from the fact that I see way too many people who look spectacular in drills/controlled environment. i.e.- They know where the ball's going to land, its most likely a slow-paced feed, etc. Playing points helps you to consolidate your learnings and adapt new skills, not to mention its fun!
This will be a 2-hour session in Morse Park 4's courts. There will be a maximum of SIX participants per for this session. This is open to Beginners and Intermediate Players alike, as most of the time I will be giving tailor pointers and tips to individuals, therefore your skill and experience will not be too relevant.
Since this is a trial lesson, the cost is set at $100 for the 2-hour session per person. Since this is not a large amount, you are free to pay me at the end of the session.
