Tues Night 11v11 Soccer Tournament @ Montrose Turf!

Join us for our weekly tournament that combines a pickup atmosphere with the great organization of a league! Sign up by yourself, with friends, or as a whole team. We'll break the group into four teams and each team will receive four 15-minute games. A solid hour of playing time for each participant! We provide pinnies, friendly staff, and equipment. All you need to do is RSVP and show up ready to play!

We recommend registering early. Please, if you sign up and change your mind, change your RSVP so that someone else can play. If you RSVP for guests, it is your responsibility to make sure that your guest count is accurate. You are required to pay for any of your guests who do not show up. No-shows will be recorded on your account and are grounds for being dismissed from the group.

Tournament will start at 6:30 PM and last until 8:30 PM.

You can sign up by yourself or with some of your friends. You may request to play on the same team as someone else. We will try our best to accommodate, but it may not always work out. We'll take care of creating the teams on the day of the tournament and making sure that everyone has a great time. All you have to do is show up ready to play!

We'll be at Montrose playing 11v11. Each team will have up to one sub. Shinguards are highly recommended, but not required. There is no referee.

We'll be on one field for two hours. Check in begins at 6:00. We will start the tournament on time at 6:30. When you arrive, please check in with the Sports Monster Staff. Get there early so that you can stretch and warm up. If you have not checked in by the start of the tournament, 6:30, we may give your spot away to people on the waiting list. To run a great tournament, it is important for players to be ready to start on time.

You can pay using a credit card or your PayPal account. Or, you can RSVP online and pay cash when you get to the event.

We do our best to create even teams each week. The entire tournament takes place in one evening and the winners are rewarded with bragging rights and their photo on our meetup page!

This tournament consists of four teams of 11 people (plus one sub).

On the day of the tournament, we'll take the RSVP list and divide it up into teams (A, B, C, & D)

Each game will last 13-15 minutes. Every team gets about an hour of playing time.

We'll keep track of the standings for the tournament.

This format is great for combining playing time with time for socializing with other fun and soccer-loving people like yourself!

3 points for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss. The teams in the final two games are decided by points, then goal difference then goals scored. If the final is still tied after regular time, there will be a penalty shoot out.

If the tournament fills up, we will open a waiting list.

How the waiting list works: If a spot opens up for the tournament, people on the waiting list will receive an email notification. However, the spot is first come, first serve. We do not automatically place people from the waiting list on the confirmed list because if it is a last minute spot, the person who automatically gets the spot may not be aware they are supposed to show up. IF YOU ARE ON THE WAITING LIST, PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP EXPECTING TO PLAY.

Refunds or credits are available if you change your RSVP from "Yes" to "No" at least 48 hours before the day you wish to play. If you change your response to "No" less than 48 hours before the tournament, you will receive a credit only if your spot is filled by another player.

      We need at least 22 people signed up in order to have a game. If it doesn't work this week, we will try again next week. With more lead time we will get a full group. We will cancel by 5:00 today if we don't have enough people.

Your organizer's refund policy for Tues Night 11v11 Soccer Tournament @ Montrose Turf!

Refunds offered if:

  • the Meetup is cancelled
  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 2 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: No refunds for players who cancel on the day of the event. Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of the event may be used as a credit for future events if the spot is filled by another player.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
