Grails Persistence Tips and Gotchas

Mapped collections in Hibernate (and even more so in Grails) are very convenient but if you're not careful can be performance killers. We'll talk about how to remove the collections but maintain the database schema and functionality with just a little more code. In addition we'll look at configuring the 2nd-level cache and some graphics code to generate real-time usage graphs.

Same location as last time; remember that the room as at the far end of the building (if you're taking the T).
