SpringOne2gx 2013 Recap

  • October 9, 2013 · 6:30 PM

Hi All,

The SpringOne2gx conference wrapped up a few weeks ago, and it appears as though it was a classic. Cantina's own Julian Flaks was there and has graciously volunteered to give us a presentation and kick off a discussion on several of the more exciting topics he witnessed (note that we may drift off into Spring-land – have you seen Spring Boot?). If any of you attended the conf, please come and share your experiences!

The Meetup will be Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30 pm at the Cantina Office in the Innovation District, a short stroll from South Station. Additionally, there'll be pizza and beer to help fuel the conversation.

Hope to see you all there!

Apologize everyone, I couldn't find this place on my map. My map told me, it's close to gov center. So sad i could't join in this event.

Ah, that's odd. Well, if you change your mind, our office is right behind the children's museum in Fort Point

I think that is what Apple Maps thinks for some reason. I was pretty sure it was close to South Station and was taken aback when Apple Maps placed it closer to Government Center. Switched to Google Maps and got the right answer, luckily. I'm sorry you seem to have encountered the same problem.

I also went to Springone 2GX, and Julian talked to me about talking. I went to all Groovy and Grails talks. Also I'll bring some of the extra swag I got, stickers, and pins.
