Grand Junction Hike-N-Bike is a group for like-minded people who enjoy taking their fitness pursuits to the spectacular outdoors playground that we are lucky enough to live in!  Activities will primarily take place in the Grand Junction area between Palisade & Loma, between Whitewater & the Bookcliffs.  The focus will be on hiking and biking (both road & mountain) along with related ventures such as trail-running (which is just hiking very quickly, ha ha) & snowshoeing (hiking on snow).  Membership will be limited (exact number to be determined, with a waiting list after limit is reached) and members are expected to be ACTIVE ... that is, to physically participate in group events on a regular basis.  Those no longer interested in being active will be removed from the membership roster to create space for others on the waiting list.  Our events will begin taking place in February 2012.
