An agnostic and ethical humanist. I'm beginning to organize an ethical humanist group in town whose focus will be critical thinking about critical thinking itself, and humanist ethical first principles in general----with a view toward partnering with both atheists AND spiritually minded non-dogmatists in the Greater Grand Rapids area. A FREE thinker in the most basic sense of the phrase (...though after a decades-long intellectual odyssey away from the christian fundamentalism of my youth, i admit that my thoroughly objective search for answers has led me to strong convictions about the utter irrationality and harmfulness of certain specific religious dogmas....!), I'm actually joing GRAF in order to make friends, to receive the announcements and updates about meetings and discussions more directly----and to be available to help out where i might be able to!!
Former Fundamentalist, current agnostic, self-identify as an ethical humanist, passionate about critical thinking skills and principles, an aspiring writer, a mental healthcare professional, radically middle-of-the-road, empathetic friend of humanity
