Open Data Day

One of the .Net user group SIGs is participating in the Open Data Day on February 22nd. I thought that it is an opportunity for some of the Graph DB folks to show the power of a Graph DB. Three of our attendees are already participating. The next preparation meeting of the SIG is Feb 5th.

Jamies demo was awesome and well-presented. I had to leave, so missed session 2.

For those who asked me to put the details and link to Triangle Open Data Day (hey, we're also Google-able!), here goes:

Feb 22nd-23rd, 2014 @ NCSU Centennial Campus Engineering Building II

I looked up from my laptop, ready to introduce someone from the GraphDB meetup and everyone had left the room. :-(

I told the remaining attendees that I would help put them in touch with some graph database 'experts' to help with their Open Data Day efforts.

If you think you *might* attend the Feb 22nd event, go ahead and sign up. It's free. There is a 300 person limit and there are about 150 currently signed up. You can cancel if you determine that you can't attend.

Sorry we abandoned you. I personally was a bit confused about the topic of the evening, not understanding correctly graph DBs versus Open Data distinction.

My apologies too, Mark, thanks for representing us to the group, though!

NOTE: This is an event-preparation meetup.
