Introduction

Hi, I'm yet another DC transplant (by way of NC), and despite my suggestions, my current friends don't have an interest in comics or graphic novels, so thank goodness for meetup groups.

What are some graphic novels that you look forward to reading (or rereading)?

I'll probably enjoy Duncan the Wonder Dog again when I take a break and read it with more time as opposed to running through it, same story with Daytripper. Mister X and Zot are in my to-read pile currently, and I like all genres, though if I do run across a book I dislike, 9 times out of 10 it's because it's whiny and self-indulgent (I'm looking at you, autobio minis) with zero character growth.

Any preference or suggestions for a meetup location? (i.e., restaurant, coffee shop, etc.)

Caffeine is always a plus to have around, but as long as there's enough room for people to sit and chat comfortably, it's cool with me.
