Set tent up before you go. Last show I helped 3 people rig stuff due to parts missing and a hole in their tent. Get a good cooler, ice is too damn expensive at the shows. Freeze some of your drinking water to use as ice, then drink it when it melts. If you use a canopy like Easy Up, First Up, etc. 1)open it part way, if you don't have 4 people just lift a leg enough to get all but one leg off the ground and back up. 2) have someone lift up in the center with one hand (before legs are fully extended) and lift arm going to the sliding top/leg lock. This makes it very easy to secure the lock button. 3) repeat #2 for other three 4) extend legs to proper height. Straight leg canopy you can readjust height after staking, but slant leg types get the height right before staking. I set mine up by myself all the time using this method. You can fold it by reversing 1-4, but beware it loves to grab and pinch fingers when folding.
