The Annual Grassroots Dinner Celebration is this Saturday at 4:00 pm in Sangria Tapas Cafe in Royal Oak, on the corner of W 4th Street and S Lafayette Avenue. You can find a map and details at http://www.meetup.com/GrassrootsAtheism/events/61622282/
Everyone who attends will receive a free piece of limited edition swag, but one lucky attendee will win a free ticket to see Penn Jillette of Penn & Teller, and author of "God, No", at his only book tour appearance in Michigan.
I recommend parking in the 6th Street Parking Garage, which is located one block south of the restaurant, on the west side of the street, and offers unlimited parking for $3. Free parking is available, but you'll have to hunt for it, and it will be at least 3 blocks distant. For example, the Charter One Bank on Main Street, north of 3rd Street sometimes has free parking spaces available, but it is 5 blocks from the restaurant. If you are going to hunt for free parking, give yourself lots of time to find it and to walk to the restaurant.
I'm looking forward to sharing an evening of good food and good fun with you.
See you there,
