Tinsel tigers in the metal room

We'll be stalking satisfaction under that Picasso moon at Mike and Marian's house for a Saturday night featuring Grateful Dead music, community and revelry.

I'm not certain but I think this may be our first foray into the 90's, and I've got two great recordings lined up for a "double-feature" performance.

[masked] Nassau Coliseum features sit-ins by Branford Marsalis, and legendary sax-guitar interplay with Jerry during Eyes and the second set. This sweet show will take us on a late-night adventure so plan to save something for after midnight!

[masked] was also at the Nassau Coliseum, and will be our "early show". I found a fantastic Charlie Miller - John Cutler recording of this excellent, high-energy show, and I think you're all in for a treat. This show will kick off at around 9:00.

As usual, you are invited to come early and stay late.  Plan for food, music, friends and fun. Feel free to bring along something for the grill and something to share.  Costumery and other forms of artistic expression are always encouraged.  And, bring a sleeping bag if you'd rather skip the late-night drive.

Hope to see a lot of you bolos and bozos on the 25th!

Nice to hear I'm not the only Bozo who just knew where the house was, but landed at Bob's house, which was empty because they were at the party! Luckily my friend had one of those phones that was smarter than me. And it got the right address and guided us there! Sorry we missed you, see you at the next one!

Maybe a few too many smiling faces, everywhere I looked, but a mighty good time, fine eats, visual feasts and I loved the wild and crazy sounds the band was playing with. I hope they come back and play another show.

Well, I sure have screwed up. Was visiting my parents and came home early to get ready for the party. Got dressed up, made a nice fruit tray and hopped in the car. Remembered that the website said the street started with an "S" and found it on my GPS from the last meetup I attended. WRONG. It got me to a house that I recognized, but there was not a soul home. Came all the way back home and looked on the website - yes, it's on a street that starts with an "S" but apparently not the same street. I looked all over the website but can't find a house number. I drove home so upset and angry with myself that I just can't get behind the wheel again. I am SO sorry to have RSVP'd and not shown up. I didn't want anyone to think I just didn't bother to come. Next time I will drive it the day before to be sure I have the right place. Guess it's time to up the Adderal perscription! Love to all and hope you had a blast.

Ooh, those waves sometimes hit just as life looks like easy street. Would have been great to share the good time but ......see you around the bend. My house is nearby Mike's and has a similar name so you may have landed there.
