Come enjoy hiking part of the Gateway Loop and up towards Windgate in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve! It starts off flat, but there's a bunch of climbing towards the saddle. Gorgeous views await, then we come back around the other side of the mountain. We will be hiking at a mild pace. You're encouraged to bring snacks, sun protection of some sort and must bring at least 2+ liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.

DIRECTIONS: The address is 18333 Thompson Peak Pkwy in Scottsdale and is located on the east side of the street just north of the Bell Rd intersection. The entry street to the trailhead is labeled Carla Way. The Google map link above will get you there.
