Cleaning Up the 1977 Ironhead

I'm cleaning off more of the rust and thirty-six years of grime that's collected on my 1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH1000 "Ironhead". This is no show bike, but I have big plans for it!

We'll be working in my one-car garage in Alexandria, near Mark Center, so space is limited. It's a gated community, so I'll email attendees instructions on how to get in once they're confirmed.

We'll be here a while longer, maybe a brief cruise.

77? Not by chance one of those super rare confederate edition iron heads is it?

Hmm. Maybe I should check the VIN against the ones that were produced.
