The winter weather killed my battery, so this weekend, I'm dropping a new one into my 1993 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. Greasy Nuts events are always exciting, and I can guarantee sparks will fly at this one!
This group is for anyone interested in repairing, restoring, maintaining, chopping, bobbing, modding, hacking, or duct-taping their bikes in the comfort of their own garages, sheds, driveways or living rooms (yeah, Pat, I'm talking to you), and sharing that knowledge and joy with other like-minded, self-made grease monkeys.
This group is for small meetups, where a few old and new friends get together on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, drink beer, and help each other keep aging two-wheeled beauties on the road, hack together a Frankenstein rat-rod, or just rattle on about the pros and cons of belt drives versus chain drives, and the evils of ethanol.
All skill levels are welcome, so whether you've been turning wrenches for decades or decided to finally do your own oil change and don't know where to start, this group's for you.<br>
We've had past Meetups in Northern Virginia and DC, with new Meetups being planned in Richmond, VA, Memphis, TN and Baltimore, MD.
