Exciting stuff, folks! We have three of the six books chosen for Jan-Jun of next year!! Unfortunately, we all have very diverse taste, it seems, because THREE of our categories TIED! So we shall be voting again on those... But first things first:

in JANUARY, our crime thriller wil be: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo! This one won by a HUGE majority, so I decided we could read it first.

in FEBRUARY, our social science selection will be: Outliers! This one was tight, just barely beating out Guns, Germs, and Steal by four votes.

in MARCH, we shall enjoy our historical fiction choice of: Leviathan! This one won by quite a lot, as well.

So there you have it! This leaves us with ties on our remaining three categories. So, choose one of the two books listed in the categories below and please have votes to me by next Friday so we can have our books posted through June by the end of the year. Happy Voting!

**Tie Breakers**

Classics
Catch 22
The Great Gatsby

Humor

Breakfast of Champions
A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius

Banned/Challenged Books
The Satanic Verses
The Things They Carried

Don't forget to submit your votes by next Friday to clear up the ties! See you in January.

Ashley
