Introduction
I look forward meeting other hikers in the area. I get out as often as I can. The trails I have left in the park are difficult to do without a shuttle or a backpack. It would be great to meet other hikers to get out with.

Overnight backpack in the Smokies
"Larry and I ended up not hiking Eagle Creek due to the four inches of rain that the park received last Wednesday. Instead we hiked Smokemont to campsite number 48 on Friday and hiked out Hughs Ridge and Bradley Fork trails to make a loop. ..."

"With the weather being so nice and the sun setting so early Lynne and I decided to change the hike to Leconte and Cliff Tops. It was the perfect day for this hike and Lynne finished her 75th trails patch with this hike."

"At 9:00 a.m. 441 was closed due to ice and snow. I met Jerry and Walter at SVC and we decided to hike Gregorys Bald instead due to the closed road. It was a cold but became a great hike with beautiful views. ..."
