Introduction
I love all types of outdoor activities and am looking to meet some new people to go out and enjoy sharing all that mother nature has to offer!
What is your favorite outdoor activity?
I grew up in Boy Scouts in a rural farm town. I did a lot of hunting and fishing, but they're all great to me!
Do you most prefer an easy, medium or extreme type of hike?
I'd like to go extreme, but I'm going to need to work back up to that starting with some easier ones.
Do you have any special skills such as... map reading and GPS or first aid-CPR ?
I used to do a good bit of map reading, but much of that was 15 years ago or more. I was a lifeguard for a few summers as well and feel that I could still perform much of it if put in a situation where someone needed assistance.

Hi Greg. Can you set a date for a hike for our weight loss group and host it for us? I'd love to get my husband and son involved with us on a hike. We need some guidelines as what to wear (shoes-boots/so
cks), what to bring (water/snack of ??), any equipment that might be of assistance that is a must or optional. Just some general guidelines for us beginners. Thanks! Connie -
