Milwaukee area Great Lakes commoners - let's meet up

Let's meet May 7, 6pm at Twisted Fisherman. http://twistedfisherman.com/contact.html - located between the Harley Davidson Museum and Potawatomi Casino. Ann Brummitt from Milwaukee Water Commons will host. It will be a chance to meet up, share why we love our Lakes and talk about events for the summer. And it will be at the same time as our friends in Toronto. Any other Great Lakes commoners could have an event at the same time too. Just saying!

And now I can't. I look forward to our next gathering! I will add that if anyone wants to go for a sail on the Great Lake nearest the Milwaukee group, I would be happy to take you!

Any time! I sail out of the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center, so just shoot me a message and we can go--the season goes until mid-October.

Good question April. I have never been to the Twisted Fisherman so look for a 5'2" gray haired lady in brown corduroys :)

I see the group starts at 6pm May 7th however how long will the group last till? This is because I get off of work only around this time. I think it would be fascinating to see Lake Michigan's deep from a divers view. Bass populations etc. How about the Milwaukee or Menominee River. Are there wrecks below like cars, etc? Is it in curious interest to others.
What is the future of our rivers or canals in our town of Milwaukee? These places were once beaches way back when.

I would like to know how our fish are doing in Lake Michigan? Are we much better now than 30 years ago? What is progressing and what has not and what is being done? I love our Lake Michigan. It is a romantic place to walk, talk and to take children to enjoy fishing and swimming. This lake, from here to the upper peninsula has fascinated me with wonder.
I am grateful that there are others who share hope regarding our Great Lakes. I'd prefer to live twice to see our lakes happy and healthy for all of us and in return. The ocean's are fine, been there and done that. Lake Michigan holds great significance for me.
