I like C, for its speed, pointers, and simplicity. A close runner up is Python. I want to learn C#, but don't want to pay the "Microsoft Tax", but maybe C# with Mono on Linux or Mac OS X is viable. I like Prolog, too, for its logic, and the ease of creating parsers. I want to build a compiler based on something called "Defeasible Logic", but I do not yet know how it would work.
I want to attend and hack. I love to tinker with microcontrollers. I am fascinated by BitCoin and other cryptographic protocols. I like hacking Java and Prolog. I would love to learn more about the Linux kernel, when I have time. I also want to attend the meetings and learn from the presentations. I definitely want to learn how to present better, too. So, there you have it!
I got my Master's Degree from UGA in Artificial Intelligence in August, 2012. I'm currently applying to the PhD program at UGA in Computer Science and looking for a job at the same time. I have three years of industry experience.
