The Greater Boston Slow Money MeetUp Kickoff event will take place Monday, June 14th at 7pm at The Nonprofit Center South Street conference room one block from South Station. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served, courtesy of City Feed & Supply, CHIVE Sustainable Event Design & Catering and First Light Farm.

This MeetUp will be an introduction to the Slow Money Principles and a showcase for several enterprises helping build a sustainable food system for Greater Boston. Slow Money Alliance founder Woody Tasch will discuss the Slow Money movement. We will hear brief presentations from several entrepreneurs and discuss ways we can help capitalize them. Among the presenters will be Green City Growers, CHIVE Sustainable Event Design & Catering, The Carrot Project and City Feed and Supply.

We suggest a donation of $10 at the door, or better yet become a member of the Slow Money Alliance for just $25 and admission is free.

We look forward to a lively discussion as we collaborate on the next steps toward realizing our shared vision of a sustainable, equitable food system for Greater Boston.
