I'm guessing I'm the only experienced diver here so i'll give some suggestions. I should have chimed in and told you alewife is not a good location at all. If your looking for a good trader joes you need to hit the one in allston around 1:00 AM or johnnys fresh foods in brookline. The trader joes in arlington also has a good open dumpster.

Thanks, Cathy. I'm no expert. If dumpster-diving were an olympic
sport, I wouldn't even be a hobbyist. Since nobody else is stepping
forward as a proclaimed expert, I am wondering if we are all new to
this. But folks (Dave, Dave, you, Mar?, others) are starting to show
interest. It sucks that Dave hit Trader Joe's alone. I am thinking it
might have just been too last-minute.

I'm a little busy over the next week or two, but maybe we could start
planning something around Labor Day. We could talk about other
resources (the NY freegans, the internet) that we could draw from.

It sounds like there's a lot of Somerville interest, but I'm in JP, as
are some others. Is there a good place to meet in Cambridge, maybe?
