1. Time Trade Circle (Greater Boston Area):
A time bank in the greater Boston area. People earn hours for services performed and can then trade those hours for services offered. By using a bank, you can perform a service for person A and turn around and "buy" a service from person B.
2. JOATU (Montreal, Quebec, Canada):
I haven't joined this yet. It sounds like a similar concept to Time Trade Circle with a few exceptions:
a. You can post services and things to sell/loan.
b. The trading parties decide on the currency AND
c. you also earn "JOATU" currency as a complementary, additional payment. JOATU values are voted on by the community, and I think then you can use it with other JOATU members as you see fit.
d. JOATU is for folks living in Canada.
e. JOATU can map where services/items are located.
