Denver Permaculture Design Course

The GrowHaus is excited to announce Denver's third annual Permaculture Design Course, a comprehensive 72-hour training in the ecological paradigm. Permaculture is a revolutionary design science that applies nature’s patterns to human structures, and the Permaculture Design Course has trained thousands of changemakers in its theory and practice.

The Denver PDC will be held the first weekend of every month starting in October 2013, and wrapping up in March 2014. Most weekends for the course will be located at The GrowHaus, a cutting-edge permaculture demonstration facility off I-70 and York in Denver. The first weekend of the course will be a retreat held at Woodbine Ecology Center, a permaculture organization just outside the Denver area. There will be optional field trips to demonstration sites throughout the Front Range between each class.

The Denver PDC is recommended for design professionals, urban farmers, community organizers, foodies, city planners, green entrepreneurs, homeowners, and anybody seeking a comprehensive framework for sustainable change. Course tuition is $950 with a $250 deposit before July 15th, or $1100 after July 15th. A limited number of scholarship positions are available.

Please see our website at www.denverpdc.com for more details and information.

Are there any scholarships for these classes? I'm a SAHM of three but would like to learn. Thanks!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
