You’re not one to follow the herd. You’re a lifelong learner, seeking out new things to do, fun experiences to share, information to satisfy your curious mind. It’s time to add a Cheese Maker feather to your Renaissance cap.

Cheese making is as much an art as it is a science, and there is no better mentor with whom to explore the craft than Jimmy Warren of Fruition Farms. Jimmy and co-owner Chef Alex Seidel (Chef/Owner of Fruition Restaurant) hand-make an amazing portfolio of sheep’s milk cheeses, and now you get to join in the fun, set amidst the verdant Larkspur pastures where their ewes graze.

Learn the artisanal cheese making techniques used by Fruition Farms, Colorado’s first sheep dairy and creamery. As an apprentice cheese maker, you will be creating a beautiful ricotta, the first cheese Jimmy and Alex made on the farm and first-place finisher at the 2011 American Cheese Society Conference. This is a hands-on experience, and you’ll get to take your 1-pound ricotta cheese home for show and tell (followed closely by eat and tell).
