Building Soil is an important first step to growing a garden...while each of us has different space, skills and styles of gardening...others are just coming into the practice or dare I say the experiment of growing a garden. So whether a person or family has a garden, is planning one or expanding one...I thought it would be interesting to go and see what is available as "commercial compost". I've spoken with 2 local companies in the Boulder County area, Eco-Cycle and Western Disposal...both have offered to do group tours. I've also contacted A-1 Organics, but not heard back from them yet. Hoping that we can pick a weekend early in March for this...please share your feedback and interest.
By visiting and questioning the methods of others...we can still learn and discover what we will to help us determine how best to compost on our own.

Would be very interested in discussing composting small urban gardens, especially when you have livestock. I am in!

This sounds like a very interesting Meetup. Thanks for suggesting it. I'm not in Boulder area so probably wouldn't be able to make it. If you do go on the tours, would you be able to post somewhere what you found out? You might also consider touring Waste Farmers? Thanks!

I generate more compost than I can use. I would be very happy to trade it...

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
