'Fird Friday' potluck July 18 with the Denver Permaculture Guild

The Denver Permaculture Guild is kicking off its "Fird Friday" monthly potluck series on July 18th at Cuernavaca Park. This potluck series takes place on the third Friday of every month, and is themed. July's theme is highly appropriate for our semi-arid region: WATER!

At each potluck, we'll be offering information, suggesting topics of discussion, perhaps some expert commentary on the theme. Expect lively and informative conversations as well as good food and good people! Community is a choice - please choose to join us to network with local permaculturists, or if you are just interested in learning more about permaculture, to share your summer bounty, and to win free giveaways related to this month's theme! You can RSVP on the Facebook event page that also includes location and map (any questions you have can be answered at that page as well):

This is a zero-waste potluck, so be sure to bring your own dishes, cup and silverware. See you there!

Just a quick update here - some exciting developments:

We will be announcing the winner of a scholarship to the upcoming Keyline Design workshop at this potluck - application form is here:

Info on the workshop, to be held in Longmont on Aug 16 and 17, here:

Additionally, we will be raffling off a copy of Brad Lancaster's Rainwater Harvesting, Volume 1 - book details here:

And, we'll be getting an update from Avery Ellis on the status of the new greywater legislation - Avery is a stakeholder and has been deeply involved in helping to shape the regulations in this crucial area.

Hope to see you all there!

Kaitte, I changed the address to include the number - plugged that into Google Maps and it shows the location more precisely. Hope that helps!
