Viva Italia!: Rural Italian Cooking

Viva Italia! Our next traditional cooking class will take you on a culinary tour in rural Italy! We will create three staple dishes that will become everybody’s favorite.

Dishes include: Crostata di Pomodori (Fresh tomato tart with herbs), Risotto alla Milanese (Milan style risotto) and Tiramisu

Instructor Marie Nicoletti grew up in Savoie, a region in the French Alps neighboring Italy. Growing up in a bi-cultural family, Marie spent her school years in France and her summers in Italy, in the Piemont region, by the Lago Maggiore. This is where Arborio rice is cultivated, in the town of Arborio. There when you visit a friend at any time of the day, the first thing they’ll ask you is if you are hungry and if they can make you a risotto!

Join us on August 24th to learn how to make (and taste!) these famous essential Italian recipes.

No experience necessary, all materials provided. Seniors (55+) receive a 20% discount off of their registration fee. Minimum of 4 participants, maximum of 15. Pre-registration is required.
