Helping Harvest Grow Local Colorado's Sheet Mulch Garden

Interested in seeing how Grow Local's sheet mulch garden is doing? Want to help us harvest tomatoes, peppers and tomatillos? Want to learn fun facts about gardening in our community? Then join us for an hour or so. Please sign up so we'll have enough snacks for everyone. All the produce harvested will go to the local food pantry, Crossroads of the Rockies. Participants will park by Huston Lake Park and walk down the alley to our garden site. Look for signs.

I love these get-togethers, esp when we're doing the fun "work" of harvesting.

Thanks for bringing your daughter! Appreciate her getting under those tomato branches to find the ones that were hiding!

Thanks everyone who helped us harvest at Sparkie's. We harvested nearly 60 lbs of fresh produce which will be delivered to Crossroads' food pantry this morning! Estimated value of the produce: $120! You are marvelous!

Looking forward to seeing all of you good people Thursday evening. Park in front of 2255 W. Ohio, then walk up the alley, just one house length east of this address. You'll see the garden just a few yards up the alley.

I was there for the sheet mulching, I missed the spring planting, now I can't wait to see the finale and harvest!

Laura, yes! Please bring your daughters along. They'll probably be our best harvesters.

Are kids welcome? My girls might want to come. Natalie has become quite the garden aficionado.
