Warm Season Planting / Drip Systems

This is a hands-on event setting out plants and planting seeds in the deep mulch and installing drip systems. Planting in a sheet mulch or hugelkultur is different than planting in a tilled soil. Learn the techniques we have developed for planting into the deep mulch and installing drip line and drip emitters. We will discuss attaching drip systems to outside faucets and converting sprinkler systems to drip systems. Price: $25.00* *free for member of a gardening team. http://www.organiclan... See Event Calendar: http://www.organiclan... The saying goes that there is no bad weather . . . only insufficient clothing. However, in the case of inclement weather we may limit the hands-on portion for safety and comfort. If an event is canceled, please consider attending on a different date . . . or consider asking David Braden to work with your team at your garden (schedule permitting).

If you are not interested in working with a team, we will ask you to contribute to our efforts to figure out the best way to tend to the relationship among the living things around us. Hi, my boyfriend and I would like to come, but I am unclear if the $25 fee applies. Is it waived if you are a member of a gardening team on Meetup.com or some other team?

The cool season crops are up, the trees are leaved out, the bee hives are filling up, we got our chickens, the hugelkultur is being planted out to a food forest/bee forage island . . . and it is time to plant warm season crops and set up our drip systems. Come see how it all works !!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
