A Better Way to Garden

Now that you have tilled in your compost, planted and are gearing up for a long season of weeding and watering, consider joining us to learn about a better way to garden . . . the No Weed, No Water, No Till, Deep Mulch, Drip Irrigated way to garden.

It is never too early to build deep mulch garden beds and on

June 21, 2012 at 9:00 am. at Denise Conrad's house

14938 W 49th Place, Golden, CO

we will be building a sheet mulch for a front yard food forest. bring water bottles, sack lunch, gloves, wheel barrows, rakes, forks and shovels if you have them. The total area we will sheet mulch is 850 square feet so we should be done by early afternoon.

Following the sheet mulch, join us at the Applewood Permaculture Institute for an evening of community at:

14020 W. 32nd Ave.,

Golden, CO

The festivities will start around 6:30. BYOB and a dish to share. We will light a fire in the fire pit in honor of the solstice.
