Warm Season Planting / Drip Systems

This is a hands-on event setting out plants and planting seeds in the deep mulch and installing drip systems.
Planting in a sheet mulch or hugelkultur is different than planting in a tilled soil. Learn the techniques we have developed for planting into the deep mulch and installing drip line and drip emitters. We will discuss attaching drip systems to outside faucets and converting sprinkler systems to drip systems.
Price: $25.00*
*free for member of a gardening team.
The saying goes that there is no bad weather . . . only insufficient clothing. However, in the case of inclement weather we may limit the hands-on portion for safety and comfort. You can RSVP to d-braden AT comcast.net and we will notify you of any cancellation. If an event is canceled, please consider attending on a different date . . . or consider asking David Braden to work with your team at your garden (schedule permitting).

Thanks to everyone who came by to the Drip Systems segment at my house and helped install my new drips!!!! It was nice to meet new friends. Feel free to drop by during the summer. And David did a good job of showing us the various steps! Thank you all!

Rae, if you can take a bus to 32nd and Wadsworth or 29th and Wadsworth, I can pick up at 8:30 and take you there. I am going to Broadway and 14th afterward so I can drop you off nearby.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. The light rail goes to that vicinity but not close enough on a Sat. Nancy, thanks for your kind offer. I could get a bus to colfax and wadsworth by 8:17, the same time the bus going north leaves from there. It's an hours travel time and complicated to get to you. I think it's just too far away. sorry to miss it Rae
