Building ONE Doubledecker Worm Compost Bin

The original meetup was going to include an outdoor composting bin. However, due to the weather we are unable to build one this weekend at Molly's house.

However, for those of you with cabin fever, I am happy to host a worm-bin building session at my place. It's really easy. All you need are two of those plastic storage bins (with lids) that you can buy at Target or Home Depot for a few bucks, and a few sheets of newspaper. I have drills but if you have a drill with assorted bits laying around it would help. Bring those simple supplies and we'll get you started. Worms not included.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR RSVP to let me know if you plan on coming to my place for the simple plastic worm bin build. I do have a top bar bee hive (no bees yet) and a coop with a couple of chickens, some rabbits, a solar power system, some outdoor compost bins made from skids and some raised beds.

Molly will provide me with details to reschedule her outdoor compost bin building session within the coming weeks. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yes, we will be there, plus 2 kids. Everett, would you like me to bring some canning books for you to look at?

Hey all. It looks like Sunday is supposed to be cold and snowy. Not exactly ideal for outdoor composting. I'm thinking a reschedule to the 19th of April. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
