Good Morning Urban Farmers,
As an initiative of the Denver Mayor Hancock Administration, the mission of Denver Seeds is to grow a sustainable local food economy that provides access to healthy and affordable food for all of Denver’s residents and creates jobs. The initiative is designed as an umbrella that supports and augments the existing food and community infrastructure so as to grow Denver’s local urban food system. In order to effectively shift our current food system to a more sustainable and locally sufficient system, we must understand how the current system operates and the organizations involved.
As such, it is paramount to the success of Denver Seeds to catalogue and take stock of which urban agriculture organizations exist here in Denver, in what areas they serve, and in what part of the food system they operate. Therefore, this survey is a critical component in accomplishing the goals of Denver Seeds.
Please assist us and your local community by completing this short survey as soon as possible.
