Getting the Most out of your Membership

You may have noticed more activity in our Meet Up group. That is because I have been inviting people to post events. I want this Meet Up group to be “the” place to belong if you want to know what is happening around sustainability and resilience in the Denver area.

I want you to post your projects too. I believe that we create the world we want by developing the capacity to provide for ourselves. I believe that every neighborhood needs a team devoted to that purpose. I have posted my reasoning in Why you Want to be on a Gardening Team.

These are the steps:

1 – learn techniques by attending the events of others

2 – gather a team to implement those techniques in your neighborhood

3 – post your events on the Greater Denver Urban Homesteading Meet Up Group. I will approve them.

4 – add people you meet to your team and repeat.

Every Dollar you save by producing things for yourself is a Dollar that could be invested in more capacity to provide for yourself. That is how we will create the world we wish for our children.

Thanks for improving our habitat,

David Braden
