Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking down the Delaware River

We will meet at Deerpark Beach #1{For those who have their own kayaks} and leave our return vehicles there, head upstream to Cedar Rapids Resort, then shuttle upstream together just north of Pond Eddy and start our adventure there, we'll paddle down to Cedar Rapids waterfront campground, bar & restaurant for food and drink then continue down to Deerpark, approx 6-8 hour trip passing wildlife{both kinds}bald eagle nests and the Hawks Nest Canyon, my children did this when they were 13 & 15 so its relatively easy, if you don't have a kayak, car rack & PFD, Campmoor in Paramus rents them.  More details as we get closer to June, lets finish winter first

There has been a lot of members interested in rafting along the kayaker's down the river, or for those who need to rent rafts or kayaks, yo uwill park at Cedar Rapids, they shuttle you up river where we will all enter the river together with kayak's we will paddle down river and stop on one of the rivers shoreline stops to enjoy{Our Homemade} tapas, snacks, wine, beer ect and continue together to Cedar Rapids. After Cedar Rapids you can follow me back to my Vernon for a Bar B Q, swim, quad and cocktails around the firepit

This will be a multi group event with "Group of Friends" and

"Food, Fun & Friendship in NJ"(22 members so far with this group}

    So sorry, I just realized how long this paddle could take. I have a conflict for that evening. Maybe next time.

    Actually, I can answer my own question after googlling on the internet. It seems no registration for unpowered boats is required in NY. Sorry for the noise, I should have looked it up first.

    Would anyone know if any registration is required for kayak use in NY, like there is in PA? Or is it like NJ, where no registration is required. Just want to be prepared---thanks in advance.
