Seashore Camping! Sept 12 -15 2013 All Weekend!!!

Update 7.5
After much thought, I have come to a method on how to move forward.

We have grown our collective annual Seashore Outing(70+ last year) to a state where our activity levels can not be met by any campground...in other words, when we all get together,. We're a pretty loud crowd!

A more elaborate conversation can be found in the comments of the Fun w/ Friends Meetup:  http://www.meetup.com/lehigh-valley-fun-with-friends/events/122214002/

In order to come towards a feasible "best" situation, this is what I suggest when considering your booking.

All campgrounds have their positive and negative attributes from the individual campers perspective. Some have more tent sites. Some have more cabins...heated pools, etc..

You, as individuals, explore the attributes of each on their websites, converse amongst your clan, and decide which campground best suit your needs.

For those that can and want to continue to book at Adventure Bound, do so. Collectively, we will regard the Adventure Bound as the primary camp. For those that choose otherwise, book at Holly Shores Campground. http://www.hollyshores.com/

I suggest you do not mention that you are with a group at Adventure Bound.

Remember, each campground has their rules designed for the greater campground harmony. We are not exempt from them.  You book as individuals. You are responsible for your own behaviors at your campsite.

To be clear.. I am not your leader, nor responsible for you. I am just facilitating an outing by posting a time and place.
-Eric Shoemaker

6.30 Folks, Hold off making reservations at Adventure Bound Campgrounds. The venue is going to change. The activity level of our group is greater than the tolerance of Adventure Bound Campgrounds and we, as a group , are no longer welcome. We are seeking another location. Stay Tuned.

This is an Entire Weekend Event!!
Last year there were more than 70 Attendees!!

Come down and join us all Camping and The Beach From Thursday to Sunday (take off from work!..you can do it!) or just the Weekend!
September Thurs 9/12 Thru Sun 9/15

If you attended in previous years, you know what a blast it is! If not, you gotta find out!!!

You Rent a campsite or a cabin. Carpool, Share a site and split the fees! Do it on the cheap! Fares are reduced after Labor day.

Ladies..... this is not wilderness camping(unless you want it to be) Clean Bathrooms and Showers.(bring quarters) Shopping and the beach is just minutes away!

I will be NOT be bringing the kitchen this year. You are on your own for food. Though it stated out as fun, it just has gotten too big to enjoy. Sorry.

This year’s decibels will be scaled back. Mark will not be bringing the Karaoke.

Parents..This is a Family Friendly Campground..no cliffs to fall from
Spend time on the beach, walk the boardwalk, bring your bike, take hike, visit the zoo or the painted ladies.

GoogMap here http://maps.google.co...

See website http://abcamping.com/abcapemay/ for campground details, policies and amenities.

From the campground website...
… the miles of beach with swimming, fishing and surfing, is what has made Cape May and the surrounding area famous. .. Located just 15 minutes north of Cape May Point, we are the closest campground to the beautiful Stone Harbor and North Wildwood beaches. With wooded campsites, cable TV, a Laundromat, pull thru sites and a secluded primitive tenting area, we have the atmosphere and amenities to make your stay an enjoyable one. ....Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Cape May accommodates virtually any type of camping unit, including tents, travel trailers with slides and large motor homes. Don't have a tent.... Try our cozy rustic camping cabins with available air conditioning, refrigerators and charcoal cooking grills.
Take the Atlantic City Expressway East to Exit 7s. (Garden State Parkway). Go South on GSP to Exit 9, Mayville/Shell Bay Avenue. Go west 1 mile and look for the lighthouse, we are on the right!
Of course there are alternative routes.

FYI: I'm staying at Adventure Bound this year at Cabin 5. It would be nice to see who else will be there. I also plan on visiting at Holly Shores (which there is a small fee per person) to share in some of the groups events. I will not be organizing a whale/dolphin watch cruise this year but I am planning on an afternoon of wine tasting at some of the local wineries.

Hi there, this year will be more tranquil, we've pushed the campground to the limits with the Lehigh Valley explosion. There will be smaller satelite kitchen areas to cook at, this will give you a more self sustaining feeling. The zoo is a great place to visit and we go to the board walk and beach for moore fun. Hope to see some acustic guirtist entertaining around a camp fire, fun, fun, fun.
