hike from the Hamburg Reservoir in the other direction

There is more to hiking from the Hamburg Reservoir than the Pinnacle. This hike will head on the AT towards the Pocahontas camping area, then over the ridge to Rattling Run, up to the Pinnacle Spur Trail, then back to the start.
Distance is @ 9 miles of hills with one steep 0.6 mile climb on a trail that is little more than a trace.
This is not a trail for beginners. Last time we did this in less than 4 hours, including scouting the route. Afterward, if anyone wants to go to a Pearl Harbor Day Swing Dance in Lebanon, join us.

This was nine miles with great people in mixed terrain from the Hamburg Reservoir in a loop with the Pinnacle Spur Trail.

Really nice trail selection with mix of up- and down-hill and creek crossing ... all kinds of terrain made it an interesting hike. Thanks, Tom+Heather!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
