"Invasive plants: identities, issues and theory". This is a PPT I presented to the Muhlenberg Botanical Society in November 2013 on non-native plant research I have been doing since 2005. Focus will be on native systems affecting and eradicating Ailanthus altissima (Tree-of-Heaven), Rosa multiflora (multiflora rose), Lonicera morrowii (Morrows honeysuckle) and a few other plants. At the same time there will be a discussion of the ideas presented and how Citizen Science can be involved in furthering the research.
This presentation is at a level most non-professionals can understand and apply while at the same time offering ideas for professionals in the field.
Healthy snacks will be provided. Other snacks will be appreciated.
