New Meetup: Littleton Pub Forum Meeting - GLYI & Water Fund

Announcing a new Meetup for Greater Littleton Youth Initative!

What: Littleton Pub Forum Meeting - GLYI & Water Fund

When: February 19,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Last month we discussed how the City should use the $12 million water fund. One possibility was for ?social capital?, not just physical capital as has been selected by Council for the money. But social capital is still a need in our city, and we are actively creating it. One such way is the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative.

This month we will be hearing about GLYI from Jim DuBose and Chris Gibbons. As a warm up, please check www.gyli.org, then click on ?blueprints? to see some of the programs they are conducting. Bring some questions or comments to the PUB for Jim or Chris.

For those who might say, ?I meant to ?but I didn?t get around to it?, GLYI has a huge commitment to teen suicide prevention, and it works! Come and hear about the ?Yellow Card? technique, and find out how many potential suicide admissions are made every day at the Littleton Adventist Hospital.
