Hey everyone... the reason there are 2 extra spots this week is because we have had three weeks in a row where 1-2 people don't show up, and since the teams are 6's only a couple of the teams have been at a deficit as a result. I discussed this last night with a few members so we will try creating the two extra spots, and if everyone does show up we will rotate the extra spot(s) among the teams as evenly as possible

I actually don't mind playing with 5. If we go back to 24 spots you can put me on a team of 5 if there are any no-show.
I agree with Bill. Rather 5 than 7.
I plan to start coming regularly in a couple weeks, and I 3rd that motion ... esp. since the price is the same either way. Just make sure your team of 5 is not overly weak, and you should be fine. You can start with Bill and I ... we'll play 5's. =)
I will 4th that motion. I would rather not rotate in. I would even play 4s if it came to it.
I prefer 5 to 7 as well
Well, I'm withCliff. I don't mind playing in a team with 7, but playing in an underpowered team of 5 green pigs against 6 angry birds... that's going to be a massacre... weeeeeeeehhhhhh!!!!
I don't mind if i can get a spot.

Personally I would prefer just have the 24 spots, and have everyone who signed up, just show up... when I make teams and someone ends up missing at the last minute, it often throws off the roster balance. Last week this made one team at a deficit and hurt the players remaining on that team. This trial here with two extra spots was a suggestion someone made that we will try out for this week only and see how it goes. Thanks everyone who added their opinion!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
