Topic: Arizona's Rights to the Colorado River: How Did We Get Them? Can We Keep Them? Can we Afford Them?

Speaker:

Attorney Robert Lynch of the Federal Water Rights task force.

The Forum starts at 7pm, at the Granite Reef Senior Center in south Scottsdale, 1700 N Granite Reef Rd, Room 7, [on NW corner of McDowell (north of the gas station). Granite Reef Rd is about one half-mile east of Hayden Rd and three quarters mile west of the McDowell Rd exit on highway 101.


Speaker Biography:
Attorney Robert Lynch of the Federal Water Rights task force. Mr. Lynch litigates and consults on issues concerning federal and state water, power, environmental and public land issues. His current focus includes issues related to federal and state electric cyber security requirements, federal and state water law and policy, and environmental issues.  He has worked on such projects as the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, Cross-Florida Barge Canal and the Central Arizona Project.  He has consulted on issues related to Glen Canyon and Hoover Dams, federal hydropower issues and related water and water rights issues.  He was appointed in June 1996 by the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives to the seven-member Federal Water Rights Task Force.
