What is your present background in the German language?

I took German for 5 years in High School and did a 6-week exchange program in a suburb of Hannover. I was quite proficient at the time but have since allowed my skills to slip and would like to stop this trend

Why are you interested in practicing your German?

I think that striving to speak foreign languages in general is a positive goal that is worth pursuing. My particular interest in German is connected to my existing investment in the language, and my enjoyment of the culture.

Is there any specific topic you are particularly interested in?

No, I'm pretty open to new/varied topics

Is there any particular area of the German language you would value practicing the most?

Conversation is definitely the area that I would enjoy and benefit from the most

Do you have a background in any other language(s)? If so, could you provide some information?

Yes, I took 3 semesters of Mandarin Chinese in college and have spent about 3 months in China (primarily Shanghai) over the past two years.

Hi, I recently moved to the area and am looking to brush up on my foreign language skills
