Beat the Weather Hike (late start close in)

Did you know the popular Rattlesnake Ledges trail goes way back in there, along a fun little ridge? Nice work out when the weather kicks up a fuss in the winter. There are a few good turnaround points, so we can scale the trip to the group's desire. I would plan turn around for 2 pm at the latest, since "sunset" is at 5:45. Highest point is 3,500 (East Peak). Since the snow forecast was strong enough to cancel our Mt. St. Helen's trip, we can be pretty sure we will get up out of the rain on this one. Let's meet at Eastgate Park and Ride at 9:30 and car pool to Snoqualmie Point (near North Bend, right off of I-90). Bring snowshoes and traction (crampons, yaktrax, microspikes, etc). I hate to say this, but the weather may suck, so you will need clothes to keep you chipper and warm. Here is a good link

I'm interested in this adventure, but am snowshoeless. Any chance anyone has an extra pair that'd fit my girlish podi.

I have extra pair... But I don't think snowshoes are needed. Microspikes or something similar is needed. Sorry for late reply... Join if you still can.
