To learn and to grow...and to make new friends.
Nikon D3s' and D-800s. I use Nikon because that's what Tom grew up with. In fact it wasn't until I founded GCPC that I ever even held a Cannon. The D-800s are my go-to cameras. The colors simply pop off the page. I can tell a D-800 shot from across the room. I use the D3s for its extreme low-light capability (ISO 6000) for locations like dark churches and receptions. I didn't upgrade to the D4s because I don't buy anything unless it makes me money and there's not a bride or groom in the world that can tell the difference between photograph taken with a D3s vs a D4s.
Weddings by far, followed closely by Boudoir. I don't think of photography as taking pictures. Rather I think of it as capturing emotions. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than photographing weddings and Boudoir sessions ♥
RAW. Today's cameras are smart, but I want to decide which pixels to throw away.
