Charitable Gardening Book Discussion: Chapters 1-3 of Food not Lawns

We are now reading Food Not Lawns, yippee! Please read Chapters 1-3 before this meetup.

We will also go over the great ideas that the last book generated and prioritize their importance and probability of being adopted by earth minded public.

There is ample parking in parking lot C on Sunday morning (next to Mill Road) and it's a short walk to the Freedom Cafe.

Thank you for all the uplifting ideas that members brainstormed in the past meetings. We have selected one pilot project - urban barrel planters with frames for sponsor advertisements. Ellen will feel out the Durham agriculture committee to see if there would be any strong objections to conduct a test placement of one barrel planter by the churches on Church Hill. :-)
