I first heard of permaculture from the CalEarth website as they were hosting a two week combined workshop that I couldn't attend this year because of school. But I have researched it's meaning and other closer initiatives and found this group.
From Brian Frobese initially, and then Renee Ciulla my Sustainable Ag Teacher at Great Bay. Great class, I missed the lecture you gave and was bummed but figured I could join the group and get filled in and active that way.
Everything and anything I can. Mostly I am interested in planning for single sight and community builds. Planning zones based on regional factors and levels of traffic and need. Incorporating composting, soil management, year round yield, and creating a circular relationship that is symbiotic and productive for all inhabitants of the ecosystem. Organic farming, soil and water conservation, animal husbandry inclusive of things such as worms, fungi, bees, and other decomposers and pollinators as well, season extension with protected greenhouses and high hoops, planned biodiversity for disease and pest resistance, and creating heirlooms are a few of the things I want to expand my understanding of.

I have lived in the seacoast area for 3 years now and have become progressively more interested in, supportive of, and actively involved in the issues of sustainability, local and organic food, permaculture, and environmental stewardship. Hi all!!
